Renowned for her Millennial-style comedic sensibility in projects like The Politician and Buffaloed, actor Zoey Deutch has also demonstrated remarkable depth, holding her own opposite the incomparable dramatic actor Mark Rylance in The Outfit. Seeking to explore this depth, I collaborated with acclaimed documentary filmmaker and artist Maxi Cohen. Inspired by Cohen's transformative water-themed documentaries, we delved into the new “science of water”, as evident in her ongoing project, A Movement in Water, which combines scientific exploration with photography and film, capturing the essence of this precious commodity. For our photoshoot, Deutch immersed herself in the spirit of water, becoming a conduit to convey its energy, offering readers a visceral connection to this vital element.
