Julianne Moore

Julianne Moore is undoubtedly one of the most alluring actors of our generation. To help me capture Moore’s place in Hollywood as a venerable actor who can tackle any role, I forged a collaboration with acclaimed artist Kara Walker. Walker contributed the majestic mural she created for the Venice Opera’s production of Vincenzo Bellini’s, Norma. Placing Moore strategically within the mural's intricate tapestry, my photographs depict the actress inhabiting a tumultuous world, dynamically inspired by Walker's compelling reimagining of Bellini's tragic script.
