Ubah Hassan is “Printopia"

Bold prints and unconventional color pairings define the visual language of Printopia with Ubah Hassan. To animate the garments, I constructed a custom lens filter using mirrors, Lucite, and fabric, allowing light to refract and move across the frame. This approach kept the process in-camera, avoiding digital manipulation and ensuring the images achieved their intended visual impact through physical means rather than post-production.
