When Ubah Hassan suggested collaborating again, I immediately said yes. We spent the day photographing inside Casa Cipriani, using the hotel’s charged interiors and sense of exclusivity as an active element of the images. Shooting unfolded in real time as the crew from The Real Housewives of New York City documented the day, introducing an additional layer of performance and observation. I leaned into that tension—working quickly, intuitively, and responsively—allowing movement, interruption, and atmosphere to shape the frame rather than controlling every variable.
