This shoot with GIRLI was produced in a stripped-down studio to foreground expression. Set in a stark studio without props, the images strip away performance to focus on expression, vulnerability, and internal tension. We leaned into heightened gesture and controlled theatricality, allowing personal drama to surface through posture, gaze, and light. The result is a raw, pared-back portrait series that mirrors the emotional directness of GIRLI’s songwriting.
